This is why, when Samuel Eto'o scored against Spurs on Feb 8th and celebrated his goal with a hilarious 'Old Man Injured' celebration, many reporters were licking their lips at the chance to ask the Special One about it after the game. The Portuguese was however quite ready for their questions and, it appears, for Eto'o's antics as well. Call him the Ready One.
"Eto'o's celebration on the pitch was brilliant - a great idea to make fun of a story," said Mou .
Jose Mourinho thought he was speaking in private to the boss of Hublet Luxury Watches when he slated his strikers and made some rash comments about Samuel Eto'o's age.
"Fernando Torres was going to start and could not [after getting injured in the warm-up] and I said to Eto'o that it was his destiny to score today.
"The goal, his movement, the way he held the ball - he was very important for us."
The Stamford Bridge boss also expressed his thoughts about his team's chances of winning the league in 2013/14, as ever insisting that City are the favorites.
"I would prefer to be in City's position," Mourinho said after his side's 4-0 win over Tottenham.
"They have three matches in hand. If they win them all, they are top.
"We don't have control of our destiny - if we win all our matches then maybe we are not champions. If City win their games, they are champions."
