Boko Haram: Nigerian Borders with Cameroon Closed Down

The borders between Nigeria and  Cameroon in Adamawa state have been totally shut down as part of  government efforts to halt  the influx of miscreants into the country and to surmount the activitis of insurgents  in  the Northeastern part of the country.


The   commander of the 23rd Armour Brigade of the Nigerian Army,Yola Brigadier General Rogers Iben Nicholas  who confirmed the closure of the borders added  that the  decision to shut the Adamawa side of the border with Cameroon  was imperative to stop illegal movement in and out of the country.
