Florida's second sensational, race-tinged murder trial in less than a year is underway. Michael Dunn, a white, 47-year-old software developer, shot and killed Jordan Davis, a 17-year-old African American, as the teen sat in an SUV with three friends. Charged with first-degree murder, Dunn is pleading self-defense under Florida's controversial Stand Your Ground law. He contends that he argued with the teens (over what a witness says he called their "thug music") and fired on them after he claims he saw Davis brandish a shotgun. Police found no gun at the scene, and witnesses say Davis never had one.

When I talk about the founding of Lagos, I do not mean the discovery of the geographical space or the topography known as Lagos. I am talking about the establishment of an ancient port by the Edos in a joint venture with the Portuguese in South Western Nigeria. Third way; a woman can rapé a man through coércing them to pénetrate the woman with an eréct
pénis. Though it is not easy to ‘will’ an erection, it’s not always impossible, either. Men, like women, can become physically ároused despite not actually
wanting to have séx with someone.

This may occur in response to physical mánipulation or other reasons. Coércion need not be through physical force,
obviously; a man can be blackmailed into having séx. -

We now live in a world in which we talk about casual, recreational sex. A young man meets a young woman and says “Nice to meet you, would you like to have dinner, go to a movie, and then have sex.” She says “Sure, why not?” The only thing that is strange is the element of formality in such an encounter.

Casual sex is very common in our culture. At one time people thought that you shouldn’t have sex unless you were in love. You shouldn’t have sex until you were prepared for babies. And you’re not prepared for babies until you’re married. It’s a very clear equation. People thought these elements made up a package deal. And it’s not hard to figure out the justification for those premises.

If Obama wants to meet with African presidents, let him visit all 47 capitals, or attend an African Union meeting.
